the item that you will be (Part Number CS300A) this is a replacement
for the Aquatherm unit that is no longer available.
If we were to replace just the heating element it would require
a fair amount of labor with no guarantees on the rest of the components.
This unit will have all new components that control the pump, blower, light,
and timer.
The downside is that your current unit has
a set of special connectors for each component that will have to be hard
wired to make it work. This is a little more labor than if the components
just plugged in but nothing that can't be solved.
I estimate that to install all this equipment and get it working will
be about $300.00 plus the cost of the components. However it would be best
to see it after the unit is installed on the pipes.
