Travel to Lennox Dealer In Baltimore Maryland and pick up units listed
above. Inspect units for shipping damage.
Pick up from supply house Heat pump and air conditioning dryer 3/8 inch
flare SAE, 2 3/8 inch SAE Sight Glasses (Sporlan Valve), 6 3/8 inch
flare nuts, 12 Feet of 3/4 id 3/8 wall Armaflex insulation, 8 bricks to
raise units off of pad.
Recover refrigerant from the heat-pump unit. Air conditioning unit has
lost all refrigerant due to a hole in outdoor coil.
Disconnect High voltage power and Low voltage control wiring.
Cut refrigerant lines from units and seal existing units to prevent oil
leaking from units when being moved.
Will reuse thermostat wiring, high voltage wiring and disconnects.
Remove units from existing pad. Old units will be disposed of by
G&S Mechanical Services.
Make any adjustments to unit concrete pads.
Un crate new units from Lennox and inspect for any damage not discovered
earlier.
Install heat pump first on old pad using bricks to space unit off of pad.
Connect refrigerant lines, thermostat wire, power wire, sight glass and
dryer.
Install air conditioning unit second on old pad using bricks to space unit
off of pad. Connect refrigerant lines, thermostat wire, power wire, sight
glass and dryer.
Start up both units and check for proper charge. Extra refrigerant may
be needed for attic mounted heat pump.
No mechanical changes will be made to existing indoor equipment.
