I like Renee Zellweger a Do-It-Yourself Gal

Any do-it-yourself gal is ok by me but one who is a famous as she is and shops at The Home Depot instead of hanging out in bars is even better. If she doesn't like to hang out with the other Hollywood types then I wonder what other neat things she does. Maybe one day she might contact me (or not).
I found the article below (credit to the writers) while doing a search but it was buried with so much java script and Flash that it crashed my computer several times trying to retrieve it but I finally got it.
Long live the do-it-yourself gals of the world.

"Jerry Maguire" and "Nurse Betty" star Rene Zellweger's
romance with George Clooney has apparently cooled off.
They are now just friends, reports the New York Daily News.

These days, Zellweger says, you are more likely to run into
the star at the Home Depot doing some shopping than in
any trendy night clubs or Hollywood hot spots.

``I just love Home Depot,'' the 32-year-old actress told W
magazine for its December issue, according to the
Associated Press. ``I'm a junkie for that place. Believe me, when I'm not working, I'm not
afraid to pick up a paintbrush. I'm always redoing my places.

``During `Jerry Maguire,' I lived in this tiny little apartment ... which I referred to as `the crack
apartment.' It was so gross the carpet pad had turned to dust. So I got in there with a shovel
and a mask and redid the whole place while we were making the movie. When I told Tom
Cruise about it, he went out and bought me a stereo!''

The star of ``Bridget Jones's Diary'' says she has seen a lot of Clooney in recent months,
but describes him as ``a very good friend of mine.''

``I talk about him all the time," says Zellweger. "He's a wonderful man, the nicest person,
you have no idea. He's so kind, so kind. And you'd be shocked at how smart he is. Or maybe
not. I think it comes across. He's a wonderful person, and he's one of my best friends. And
as good-looking as he is, he's 50 times nicer than that.''

Zellweger may not have much time to spend at Home Depot in the coming months. She is
set to be one of the stars of the big screen version of the long running hit musical "Chicago."
